The main objective of the Samoa Aviation Roads and Investment Project for Samoa is to improve operational safety and oversight of international air transport and associated infrastructure .

1. SARIP objective is to improve the climate resilience and safety of the recipient’s aviation and roads sectors and in case of an eligible crisis or emergency, respond promptly and effectively to it.
2. Provide funding to improve the resilience and safety of critical roads sections on Upolu as well as support for emergency response and reconstruction through its Contingent Emergency Response Component
3. The project will support investments in the aviation and road subsectors which plays a critical role in the country’s economic development through supporting trade and promoting commercial activity through facilitating the movement of goods and services offered.
